Lesieur, General Manager in North and Central America, was presented with Air France’s first Boeing 707 in Seattle by Mr. William M. Allen, President of the Boeing Airplane Company. Madam Albert D. Rosellini, wife of the Governor of the State of Washington, agreed to be the sponsor of this aircraft, called “Château de Versailles”. The aircraft arrived in Paris on 6 November 1959.
