This reopening enabled Air France to once again offer round-the-world tickets, with the Paris-Los Angeles-Papeete-Tokyo-Paris itinerary. In 2008, there are three weekly flights to Papeete via Los Angeles. Air France operates 24 non-stop weekly flights to Tokyo.
