« The Mermoz’s Route » awarded at the 1st International Air Film Festival of Châteauroux

« The documentary film « The Mermoz’s Route, » directed by Henri Schops from Historical and Cultural Heritage Department of Air France, won the history of film FIFAC, held from 14 to 18 May.

FIFAC®, the International Aviation Film Festival, created by Daniel BOULOGNE (Founding President of FIFAC) is held in Châteauroux, due to its role in aeronautical history and the exceptional site of Marcel DASSAULT airport.

This project is hosted and supported by the town of Châteauroux and mayor, Jean-François MAYET, who is very keen for this festival to attract an international audience, perfectly fitting in with the history of Châteauroux.

This Festival is open to French and foreign films devoted to civil and military aviation, leading-edge aeronautical technology, aviation feats of yesteryear, present-day performances to the most reckless.

Organized in partnership with local and regional public authorities, aeronautical firms, institutions and prestigious brands, FIFAC is the unmissable event for all aviation enthusiasts.
